At Ramadita (accessible at https://ramadita.com/), we value and protect your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store and protect the personal information of our users ("Clients" and "Professionals"), in strict compliance with Dominican Personal Data Protection Law No. 172-13 and international best practices for marketplace platforms.
By using our Platform, you accept the practices described herein.
1. Information We Collect
Ramadita collects information based on the user's role:
- From Clients (Diaspora & Local Investors): name, email, phone (WhatsApp), and the specific data entered in the Guided Assistant (Wizard) such as land location, estimated budget, and design preferences selected on the Inspiration Wall.
- From Professionals (Public Profile Info): company name, logo, website, geographic coverage areas, operating cost ranges, and portfolio photos (with tags and descriptions). This may be auto-populated via the Google Places API.
- From Professionals (Sensitive & Legal Info): to activate "Verified Builder" status, we collect the RNC (Dominican Taxpayer Registry), Cédula de Identidad y Electoral, and the CODIA license number.
2. Builder Identity & Profile Protection
Ramadita enforces a strict wall between public marketing data and the Professional's legal identity data:
- Legal Document Privacy: RNC, Cédula, and CODIA license numbers are used solely by Ramadita's admin team for internal validation (Diaspora Trust Index). These documents are never published on public profiles, indexed by search engines, or shared with Clients.
- Portfolio Ownership: Images uploaded to the Inspiration Wall are publicly displayed to generate leads. Ramadita protects authorship by ensuring the Professional's brand name and contact link are always tied to their work.
- Profile Control: The Professional has the absolute right to audit how their profile appears via the portal's "Public View" function, ensuring only the desired commercial information is exposed to the diaspora.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your data is collected for the sole purpose of making the Dominican construction market safe and efficient. We use your information to:
- Run the Matching Algorithm: cross-reference the Client's budget and city requirements with the Professional's catalog and coverage area.
- Dispatch Leads: send the Project Brief and Client's WhatsApp contact only to selected Professionals (up to a maximum of 3) so they can begin the quote.
- Platform Improvement: analyze Inspiration Wall interactions anonymously and in aggregate to optimize services and digital ad campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads).
4. Sharing Data with Third Parties
Ramadita does not sell, rent, or commercialize Client or Professional databases to third parties, data brokers or external marketing agencies. Information is only shared in the following scenarios:
- Client–Professional Connection: we share Client contact data with the Professional only when the Client has completed the Guided Assistant and consented to request an estimate from that specific company.
- Infrastructure Integrations: we share anonymous technical data with our cloud infrastructure providers and analytics tools, which operate under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal Requirements: we may disclose information if required by a court order, tribunal or competent Dominican government authority, to prevent fraud or to protect Ramadita's property rights.
5. Data Security
We implement enterprise-grade technical, administrative and physical security measures (including Row-Level Security policies in our databases) to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. However, no internet transmission method is 100% secure, so users are urged to protect their access credentials.
6. User ARCO Rights
Under Law No. 172-13, you have control over your data. At any time you may exercise the rights of:
- Access & Rectification: update your public profile information or correct contact data from your private dashboard.
- Cancellation (Right to be Forgotten): request deletion of your account and contact data. (Note: as stipulated in our Terms & Conditions, images previously integrated into the Inspiration Wall may remain indexed to preserve the Platform's visual integrity, but will be decoupled from your personal contact information upon request.)

7. Changes to This Policy
Ramadita reserves the right to periodically update this Privacy Policy. We will notify users of material changes by posting a prominent notice on the Platform or sending an email to the registered contact.
